Patty and Craig Locke have owned Old World Market since October of 2018.  Both Merrillville natives, they settled in Valparaiso after Craig graduated from Purdue University.  Their children, Julianna and Roman, are both currently attending Purdue, when they are not helping out at OWM!

 Patty’s mother was born in Rome and her father in Sicily, they first met in Argentina.  Her sister Claudia was born in Buenos Aires.  She is the first in her family to be born in the United States.  Patty developed a love of food and wine at an early age while being surrounded by multiple cultures.  Fun fact, English is actually her THIRD language after Italian and Spanish!

 Patty and Craig are loving the expansion of our downtown and are excited to bring a taste of Europe to Valparaiso!
